1 day with BS5306 exam BAFE invigilated on day 2

Level BAFE Theory and Practice in Servicing Portable Fire Extinguishers Certificate
Trainer Alan Palmer - EDEXCEL Level 4 qualified (PTLLS)

Who Should Attend?

This course is appropriate for any technician who has previously sat the BS5306 exam invigilated by BAFE and did not achieve the required 75% pass mark in either the practical or theory sections (or both parts). If 12 months has elapsed since taking the original BAFE invigilation the candidate will need to take both parts again.

The revision session on the Wednesday, which is day three of the full exam course is run by Alan Palmer in an open and friendly manner. Candidates are encouraged to get actively involved, ask questions, discuss issues/topics and share their experiences both with the instructor and the other students.

If the candidate was not previously on the F.I.R.E LTD course they will receive a comprehensive technicians manual and will be given revision papers during the course to ready themselves in the evening before BAFE invigilation the next day.

Time will be given outside of the classroom if any candidate needs additional learning support.

BAFE Invigilation

Independent invigilation is carried out on Thursday by BAFE and consists of:

    • A two-hour closed book written paper consisting of 40 questions.
    • A one-to-one practical invigilation lasting no more than 30 minutes.

Arrangements can sometimes be made for dyslexic students if we are advised at the time of booking, but this may incur additional cost.
